A bit about us : Position Summary :
The Financial Controller serves as the financial leader for the company, working closely with the CEO and COO on key financial decisions. We're a fixture manufacturer with great service, quality products, and beautiful design.
Reporting to the COO, the Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the monthly close, financial planning and reporting, cash flow management, inventory reporting, profit analysis, risk management, leases and contracts, banking relationships, audits, and government reporting as required.
Essential Functions :
- Lead and manage the Accounting team
- Prepare monthly financial statements and conduct cost analysis
- Develop the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts
- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting
- Perform pricing and profit analysis
- Manage banking relationships and line of credit (LOC)
- Oversee inventory management
- Implement and monitor risk management strategies
- Manage legal matters and contracts
- Supervise the annual audit / review process
- Oversee tax return preparation
- Ensure accurate sales tax reporting
- Supervise Human Resources functions related to payroll and benefits
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
