Job Details

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Permanent Fixed Asset Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This exciting role offers the opportunity to oversee and manage our fixed assets, ensuring effective capitalization, depreciation, and disposal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fixed asset management, accounting, or finance, with specific experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for asset capitalization, depreciation, and disposal in line with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
• Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of fixed assets from acquisition to disposal.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with fixed asset register.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on fixed assets.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate capitalization of new assets.
• Utilize ERP systems and fixed asset management software to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate potential impairments and depreciation.
• Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks and asset risk management strategies.
• Provide guidance and training to other team members on fixed asset management.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in fixed asset management.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fixed asset management, accounting, or finance.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and fixed asset management software.
• Strong knowledge of depreciation, impairments, and fixed asset accounting.
• Familiarity with internal control frameworks and asset risk management strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
