Job Details
Responsibilities : 1. Oversee the entire supply chain process, from production to distribution,to ensure timely and efficient delivery of food products. 2. Develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributinggoods and managing stock levels. 3. Coordinate with sales and production teams to forecast demand and ensureproduct availability. 4. Negotiate contracts and deals with suppliers, vendors, and transportcompanies to optimize costs. 5. Implement and enforce safety and hygiene regulations in line with industrystandards and government regulations. 6. Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with businesssystems or processes. 7. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to supply chainprocesses. 8. Evaluate and report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of supply chainprocesses. 9. Stay updated with latest supply chain trends and implement new or improvedsupply chain processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. 10. Train and mentor staff to ensure high performance and adherence tocompany policies. Qualifications : 1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply ChainManagement, or related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the foodmanufacturing industry. 3. Proven experience in prospecting and negotiating with suppliers andtransport companies. 4. Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities. 7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 8. Proficient in relevant logistics software. 9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 10. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and oversee large,diverse teams. 11. Strong strategic planning and business development skills. 12.
