Job Details

Are you a seasoned forensic accountant or financial auditor with a knack for investigative analysis and a passion for uncovering financial discrepancies? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are currently seeking a Forensic Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed financial investigations to uncover discrepancies, fraud, and other financial irregularities.
• Providing risk assessment and mitigation strategies to protect the organization from potential financial threats.
• Preparation of financial affidavits.
• Offering invaluable support in family divorce cases by providing clear, concise, and accurate financial analysis that can include income analysis, analysis of living expenses, child support and alimony calculations, etc
• Collaborating with legal teams to provide expert testimony and support during legal proceedings.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in forensic accounting or a financial auditing role.
• Properly interpret financial information. Be able to obtain and evaluate all relevant financial information, process it and achieve the engagement objective.
• Active CPA license (preferred but not required)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experienced in Quickbooks and Quicken.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is preferred.
