Responsibilities
As a General Counsel, you will be responsible for
- Overseeing all legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance issues, and corporate governance.
- Providing strategic legal advice and guidance to the executive management team on various business matters.
- Managing the company’s litigation risks and overseeing all litigation matters.
- Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing complex commercial contracts and agreements.
- Ensuring the company’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Advising on legal aspects of the company’s financing, including assessing and advising on current and future business structures and legal entities.
- Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the Executive Management Team.
- Leading, managing, and developing the company’s legal team to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations relating to the energy industry.
