As a member of the team, you will contribute by
- Performing geotechnical field investigations including Test Pits, Test Borings, Slope Reconnaissance, and hand augers.
- Drafting geotechnical engineering reports
- Preparing cost estimates and proposals (this can be left on with the understanding that this comes after we confirm the skill set)
- Performing routine tests and computations associated with geotechnical engineering, and field observations
- Performing laboratory testing and analyses in support of construction and geotechnical engineering projects
- Attending project meetings, both in-house and with clients
- Occasional travel and work in remote areas under adverse conditions
- Occasional lifting of approximately 75 pounds
- 1-8 years of experience for
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related engineering field; Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related is preferred
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering/Engineer-In-Training (EIT) exam or scheduled
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
