Responsibilities
- Ensuring the playability of the course at the standards set.
- Recruit, train and supervise the golf maintenance staff.
- Conduct the morning job assignments and meetings.
- Execute the daily and weekly schedules for the crew.
- Work as a team with the golf professionals creating cooperation for tournaments, daily play, and general course conditions.
- Assist with safety programs, training, and record keeping
- Assist in the budgeting process and financial evaluations.
- Oversee fertilizer and chemical applications.
- Managing the irrigation and water conservation initiatives.
- Must have a strong working knowledge of mower operations, utility carts, tractor, spreaders, irrigation systems and small equipment.
- Coordinate with the Equipment Manager to repair, clean, paint, and refurbish equipment.
- Winter work consists of snow removal and equipment maintenance projects.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
