Financial / Billing Analyst - Hybrid or Onsite out of Wakefield MA
This is a full-time, permanent position with full benefits.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Work with assigned hospitals to ensure all patient accounts are billed and followed up appropriately
- Generate monthly invoices via Excel by organizing data from multiple sources
- Navigate hospital billing systems to fulfill duties
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal hospital billing personnel
- Commitment to IT security and HIPPA compliance
- Attention to fine details, strives for accuracy, strong auditing-type skills
- Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong critical thinking, analytic, and trouble shooting skills
- Strong communication skills – does not feel shy about following up repeatedly to achieve goals
- Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
- Experience working with MacOS
- Must be positive, enthusiastic, have a can-do attitude
- Reliably and independently follows through with tasks
- Ability to write and speak English articulately
- Enjoys working as part of a team and independently
- Focused on process improvement
- Hospital/medical billing experience is a plus but not mandatory
