Responsibilities
As an HVAC Commissioning Project Manager, your responsibilities will include
- Overseeing the commissioning of HVAC systems in various construction projects.
- Ensuring that all HVAC systems are installed correctly and are functioning properly.
- Working closely with the construction team to ensure that all HVAC requirements are met.
- Reviewing and approving HVAC designs and plans.
- Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Troubleshooting any issues that arise during the commissioning process.
- Ensuring that all HVAC systems meet the necessary safety and quality standards.
- Providing technical advice and support to the construction team.
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Preparing and presenting project reports and updates to stakeholders.
To be considered for the role of HVAC Commissioning Project Manager, you must have the following qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
- A basic understanding of HVAC and refrigeration equipment including AHU, FCU, VRF, VAV, Chillers, startup, and HVAC commissioning.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and their installation and commissioning.
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure that all HVAC systems meet the necessary standards.
- Good computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- A valid driver’s license, as some travel may be required.
