Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance inspections of equipment, identify potential issues, and correct them to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, utilizing your knowledge and expertise to provide quick and accurate solutions.
- Read blueprints and schematics to understand the layout of HVAC systems, components, and devices.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to service calls in a timely manner and resolving clients' HVAC-related issues.
- Collaborate with construction teams and other technicians to ensure HVAC systems align with the overall project goals.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records as required.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in HVAC technology and apply this knowledge in your role.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
- Certification from an HVAC program at a technical school is preferred.
- EPA Certification.
