Job Details

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Resolve discrepancies in billing and client accounts, ensuring all financial data is accurate.
• Utilize billing systems such as Aderant, TyMetrix, Serengeti, Courselink, Datacert, Legal Exchange, and Bottomline to manage and streamline billing processes.
• Prepare monthly billing reports and post corrections and adjustments as necessary.
• Prepare monthly employee billing, ensuring all internal charges and expenses are accurately recorded and processed.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any billing concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the billing process is efficient and effective.
• Continually review and improve billing processes and systems to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and company policies related to billing and client relations.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a billing or client relations role, preferably within the legal industry.
• Proficiency in using billing systems such as TyMetrix, Serengeti, Courselink, Datacert, Legal Exchange, and Bottomline.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, including the preparation of invoices, posting corrections and adjustments, and resolving discrepancies.
• Exceptional client relations skills, with the ability to address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and correct errors in financial data.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to the improvement of billing processes and systems.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
