Role Overview:
We're looking for a Security Engineer to strengthen our overall security posture across both application code and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role focused on security testing, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing improvements that make our systems more resilient and secure.
What You'll Do:
Perform security reviews and penetration testing on code and infrastructure
Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities in backend systems and cloud architecture
Integrate secure coding practices into the development lifecycle
Collaborate with engineering and DevOps to implement security best practices in CI/CD
Evaluate and deploy tools for static and dynamic analysis, monitoring, and alerting
Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements
What We're Looking For:
Experience in security engineering, penetration testing, or secure software development
Familiarity with modern cloud environments (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code
Strong understanding of application security principles and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10)
Ability to work closely with developers to embed security into the SDLC
Experience with code scanning tools, vulnerability management, and incident response
Background in fintech or regulated environments is a plus
Tech Stack Exposure:
Java, AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Kafka, Redis, MySQL, DynamoDB
