We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Permanent Inside Sales professional to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual who is keen to enhance their skills in a fast-paced and challenging environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience in sales and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing quotes, and processing orders.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and outstanding service.
  • Work closely with fabrication, sales, and purchasing teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Compile reports to track sales performance, customer retention, and operational improvements.
  • Proactively expand the customer base and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Support strategies to position the company as a leader in fire protection fabrication.
  • Prepare detailed material lists for fire protection projects using HydraTech software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quotes align with fabrication capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Notify purchasing of material needs based on project quotes

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inside sales or customer service role or a related role or experience in fire protection or construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HydraTech software is preferred
  • Experience with ERP or industry-specific software is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
