- Compensation Some flexibility. Up to $150,000 for associate, up to $180,000 for experienced associates, and $225,000 for partners (no book required)
Responsibilities
- Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception to resolution with partner oversight
- Conduct legal research, draft motions, respond to discovery, and take and defend depositions
- Handle court appearances and advocate for clients in hearings
- Negotiate settlements and strategize case resolutions
- Track billable hours with daily time entry
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide regular case updates
- Licensed to practice law in California
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of legal experience (3 years considered)
- Experience in civil litigation and insurance defense preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Strong ethics, professionalism, and attention to detail
