Responsibilities
As an Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include
- Representing clients in a wide range of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, property damage, and professional liability claims.
- Conducting thorough legal research to support defense strategies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Conducting depositions to gather evidence and information relevant to cases.
- Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the effective management of cases.
- Advising clients on legal rights, obligations, and strategies.
- Representing clients in court, presenting evidence, and arguing cases effectively.
- Staying updated on changes in insurance laws and regulations and their impact on clients.
- Working diligently to meet case deadlines and client expectations.
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Admission to the Tennessee state bar.
- Extensive experience in conducting depositions.
- Strong knowledge of insurance laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
