Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires a deep understanding of labor and employment laws, and a passion for advocating on behalf of employees. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling various labor and employment matters, including but not limited to, wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination cases. This role requires a commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Our firm is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated Labor & Employment Attorney to join our team. This is a permanent position that requires a deep understanding of labor and employment laws, and a passion for advocating on behalf of employees. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling various labor and employment matters, including but not limited to, wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, and wrongful termination cases. This role requires a commitment to excellence, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of labor and employment issues.
- Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis, and prepare legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and appeals.
- Negotiate settlements, mediate disputes, and advocate for clients in court.
- Develop and implement employment policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Collaborate with clients and other attorneys to develop strategies to resolve complex legal issues.
- Conduct depositions, examine witnesses, and present evidence to defend or prosecute cases.
- Stay updated with the latest legal trends and developments in labor and employment law.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Labor & Employment Attorney.
- Proven experience in mediation and legal research.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality work and client service.
