Responsibilities
As a Land Surveyor, your main responsibilities will include
- Conducting thorough land and property surveys to establish legal boundaries, topography, and other features.
- Utilizing GPS technology and other surveying tools to collect and analyze data.
- Preparing detailed reports, maps, and plots based on the collected data.
- Working closely with engineers and architects to provide necessary data for planning and execution of construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of surveying activities.
- Staying abreast of latest developments and advancements in surveying technology and techniques.
- Coordinating with team members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of surveying projects.
To be considered for this role, you must have
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in land surveying.
- State certification or licensure as a professional land surveyor is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CAD Civil 3D and other related software.
- Solid understanding of GPS technology and its application in land surveying.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
