Our company is seeking a talented and dedicated Lead Electrician for our Commercial/Residential department. This is a permanent position in the Energy industry, where you will be working with a dynamic team on a variety of solar energy projects. The successful candidate will be a part of a team that is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising a team of electricians and apprentices on site.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings.
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with safety regulations and codes.
- Performing inspections and testing of electrical systems, and identifying any necessary repairs.
- Master Electrician or Journeyman Electrician certificate, or 5 years experience as an Electrician.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise and train apprentices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and codes related to electrical systems.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
