Our company is seeking a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Lead Power Electronics Engineer to join our Engineering team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of power electronic systems and components. You will be working on cutting-edge projects, utilizing your knowledge in hardware design, 3 phase electrical power, HW debugging, analog electronics, digital electronics, SiC, GaN, Analog Circuit Design, Power invertors, magnetics design, Altium, Matlab, Simulink, LT Spice, and PCB Design.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of advanced power electronic systems and components.
- Conduct hardware debugging and design optimization for power electronic systems.
- Utilize knowledge of 3 phase electrical power, analog electronics, and digital electronics in system design.
- Implement SiC and GaN technologies in the development of power electronic components.
- Design and optimize power invertors and magnetic components.
- Use design software such as Altium, Matlab, Simulink, LT Spice, and PCB Design in the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of design specifications.
- Oversee the testing and validation of power electronic systems and components.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in power electronics and incorporate them into the design and development process.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in power electronics engineering.
- Proficiency in hardware design, 3 phase electrical power, HW debugging, analog electronics, digital electronics, SiC, GaN, Analog Circuit Design, Power invertors, magnetics design.
- Experience with design software such as Altium, Matlab, Simulink, LT Spice, and PCB Design.
- Strong understanding of power electronics principles and applications.
- Proven experience in leading the design and development of power electronic systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and team leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
