What You'll Do
As a Sheet Metal Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all sheet metal operations, ensuring the production of high-quality products and effective resource utilization in our facility. You will interpret and work from detailed blueprints, GD&T, and 3D tolerance calculations to ensure accurate production. You will also implement and maintain Lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sheet metal fabrication environment, with a focus on technical leadership.
2. Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication techniques, such as forming, riveting, swedging, and brake press operations.
3. Extensive knowledge of blueprints, GD&T, and 3D tolerance calculations.
4. Hands-on experience with tools, such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
5. Proficiency in operating and maintaining machinery, such as drill presses, sanders, girt blast machines, and CNC machines.
6. Solid understanding and experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
9. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
12. Commitment to safety and understanding of industry regulations and standards.
