Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced paralegal to join their growing practice in Houston!
The opportunity is with a well respected firm that specializes in public finance and municipal law on behalf of developers, local governments, and state agencies . The incoming paralegal will join an established tight-knit team and handle a myriad of engaging support responsibilities related to the development of municipal utility and special purpose districts. Interested candidates must have 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Core job responsibilities include :
- Board meeting preparation, attendance, and preparation / posting of agendas, meeting documents, and meeting minutes
- Contract review and administration, including bond and insurance review, contract progress tracking, and execution
- Document preparation for issuance of public securities
- Real estate conveyances related to public infrastructure projects
- Regulatory compliance and administration tracking
