We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Attorney with a focus on Insurance Defense to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the insurance industry, coupled with a breadth of experience in litigation. This role requires a high level of proficiency in court hearings, arbitration, mediations, depositions, discovery, contractual agreements, motion, and trial. As a Permanent Litigation Attorney, you will be instrumental in defending our insurance clients against a variety of claims. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex cases, conducting legal research, and providing expert legal advice.

Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue against plaintiffs.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, and contractual agreements.
- Conduct and defend depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
- Manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
- Develop strategies and negotiate settlements in complex insurance defense cases.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients on insurance matters, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights, obligations, and options.
- Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes and trends in the insurance industry that could impact clients.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and strive to provide exceptional client service.
- Collaborate with the legal team to ensure a cohesive approach to case management.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, preferably in insurance defense.
- Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
- Proven experience in court hearings, arbitration, mediations, depositions, discovery, contractual agreements, motion, and trial.
- Strong negotiation, research, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen ability to think strategically and anticipate legal issues or risks.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
