We are a dynamic and client-focused law firm seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team. Our firm handles a diverse range of cases, including workers' compensation, commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense. We are committed to providing top-tier legal representation and advocacy for our clients across Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload covering workers' compensation, commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense.
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation, including trials, hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Develop case strategies and provide sound legal counsel to clients.
- Attend court proceedings and effectively argue motions and trials.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive case preparation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide updates on case progress.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Kentucky (KY Bar admission required).
- 2 years of litigation experience preferred, but strong candidates with less experience will be considered.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas workers' compensation, commercial litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice, or criminal law.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and courtroom advocacy abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work both independently and collaboratively.
