The ideal candidate will have a strong background in liability law and a proven track record of successful litigation.

- Representing clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
- Conducting research and analysis of legal problems to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
- Presenting and summarizing cases to judges and juries.
- Examining legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting a lawsuit.
- Evaluating findings and developing strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as wills, deeds, patent applications, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
- Negotiating settlements of civil disputes.
- Supervising legal assistants and paralegals, and law clerks.
- Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.
- Advocating for clients in court and representing them in mediation and negotiation proceedings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be an active member in good standing with the state bar.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, with significant experience in liability law.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with legal research software and platforms.
- Proven track record of courtroom success.
