Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team in Mukwonago, WI. The successful candidate will have 2 years of experience working as a Machinist and be proficient in setting up and adjusting work holding devices.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain proper concentration and coolant levels by reading refractometer.
- Set tools, make offsets in tool page, load program, establish work holding positions, and make minor program edits.
- Edit individual tool feed rates to establish SFM (Surface Feet per Minute) and related chip loads.
- Read, interpret, and understand blueprint specifications to methods of manufacturing (MOM) per routing.
- Identify when to replace dull tooling before catastrophic failure.
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience working as a Machinist.
- Experience with 3-axis programs.
- Able to set-up and adjust work holding devises.
- General understanding machine types and their applications.
- Able to understand and comprehend industrial math.
- Strong knowledge of technical GD&T drawing and reading skills.
- Able to understand quality standards and gauging.
- Bonus for overtime pay.
