Then you might be the perfect fit for our Maintenance Technician position! We are a leading player in the dairy industry and we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with an array of dynamic machinery and tools with excellent room for growth into management!
Responsibilities
- Performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, etc.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues including sensors, relays, power supplies, drives, and a variety of AC and DC circuitry.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
- Extensive knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical skills with proven ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems with the ability to diagnose and fix electrical problems.
- Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
