Maintenance Mechanic - Wastewater 2nd Shift
This role is critical to the smooth operation of our facilities, ensuring that all mechanical systems are functioning optimally and safely.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, valves, and other machinery related to wastewater treatment processes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, developing and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and ensure the continued operation of our facilities.
- Assist in the planning and execution of larger maintenance projects, including the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including parts used, time spent, and any issues encountered.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on the latest maintenance techniques and industry standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed, demonstrating a commitment to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a preference for experience in a wastewater or similar industrial setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of motors, machine maintenance technology, and repair techniques.
- A strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to mechanical maintenance.
