Job Details
As a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler, you’ll ensure smooth, efficient plant maintenance by coordinating and planning resources to keep operations running with minimal downtime.
What You’ll Do
- Bridge Maintenance & Operations Act as the main point of contact to coordinate maintenance with operations.
- Plan Preventive Maintenance (PM) Organize and improve PM tasks to keep equipment reliable.
- Prioritize Work Orders Review and prioritize work requests, ensuring clear instructions and deadlines.
- Coordinate Resources Make sure all tools, materials, and information are ready for maintenance tasks.
- Manage Parts & Vendors Work with Stores for parts and handle external contractors when needed.
- Track Progress Monitor work order status and provide regular updates to everyone involved.
- Improve Continuously Use feedback to enhance planning and scheduling processes.
- Maintain CMMS Keep maintenance software up to date with accurate records.
- Experience 5 years in maintenance, purchasing, or inventory; 3 years with maintenance software.
- Skills Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge, solid planning, communication, math, and computer skills.
- Teamwork Ability to collaborate well with production, maintenance, and stores teams
