Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Team Member, you will
- Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for equipment repair and maintenance.
- Use electrical test meters and other tools to inspect and test equipment and controls.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations or breakdowns, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the production team to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment, ensuring all electrical controls are functioning correctly.
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
To be successful in this role, you should have
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, with a strong focus on electrical troubleshooting, machine maintenance tech, pneumatics, schematics, mechanical maintenance, and electrical controls.
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults in manufacturing equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and holidays, as required.
