Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on various equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Assisting tradesmen with installations, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Working with metal, including rolling and forming, to create and repair components.
- Identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions to prevent future problems.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborating with the team to complete larger projects and tasks.
- Keeping a detailed record of all maintenance work done, including any parts or materials used.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
To be considered for this role, you must have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Proven experience with metal, rolling, and forming.
- Extensive knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair.
- Experience assisting tradesmen with installations and repairs.
- The ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
