Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Permanent Component Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Component Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving our company's success by leveraging your expertise in defense manufacturing, semiconductors, microelectronics, CAD, schematic capture, and product design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new products and improve existing ones.
- Utilize CAD and schematic capture tools to design and develop components and systems.
- Apply knowledge of semiconductors and microelectronics to optimize manufacturing processes and product performance.
- Conduct detailed analyses of components and systems to identify potential areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Ensure all component designs meet quality, cost, and efficiency standards.
- Provide expert technical guidance and support to the manufacturing team.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and standards to ensure our manufacturing processes remain competitive.
- Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to component design and manufacturing processes.
- Document all work and findings in a concise and clear manner for future reference.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a 4-year degree in Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in defense manufacturing, semiconductors, and microelectronics.
- Strong proficiency in CAD and schematic capture tools.
- Demonstrable experience in product design and development.
