We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our vibrant team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where your work will have a direct impact on our manufacturing processes and outcomes. You will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our production lines, and you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in Blueprint, CAD, Subassemblies, Motion Systems, Machine Shop, and Medical Device.
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.
2. Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.
3. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
4. Assure product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
5. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.
6. Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
7. Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
8. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
Key skills and experience include:
1. Proven experience with Blueprint, CAD, Subassemblies, Machine Shop
2. Motion and Medical Device experience preferred
3. Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Environments
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods and process improvement techniques.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects to successful completion.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex processes in a clear and concise manner.
8. The ability to work well as part of a team and to lead and motivate others.
9. Hands on manufacturing engineer who enjoys working on the shop floor
