Job Details

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of the manufacturing team to ensure production schedules are met.
• Overseeing the operation of welding and fabricating equipment, ensuring safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
• Conducting regular weld inspections to ensure quality and consistency.
• Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to guide the manufacturing process.
• Managing the use of materials such as aluminum and stamping machinery.
• Training and mentoring team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline operations and improve productivity.
• Implementing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the work area.
• Troubleshooting any machinery issues and coordinating maintenance and repairs.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, ARC, weld inspections, blueprint interpretation, aluminum, stamping, and machinery.
• A valid welding certification.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating a team.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
• Proficiency in using computer software for production management and reporting.
• A high degree of mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
