Job Details

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a full-time, permanent position. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our building design projects, from conception to completion. You will be responsible for creating mechanical designs of HVAC systems for a variety of projects including restaurants, entertainment venues, and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed HVAC systems for building projects
• Review and analyze architectural drawings and specifications to ensure mechanical design meets building codes and standards.
• Conduct design reviews, identifying potential issues and proposing effective solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other team members to deliver integrated and coordinated designs.
• Participate in project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring that design specifications are met and deadlines are adhered to.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering of HVAC systems in a variety of building types.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying and resolving design issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members from various disciplines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
