Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Engineer, your responsibilities will include
- Designing and implementing mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring they meet all safety regulations and performance standards.
- Collaborating with architects and other engineers to create efficient and sustainable building designs.
- Utilizing Revit software to create detailed 3D models of mechanical systems.
- Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinating with contractors and suppliers for the procurement and installation of mechanical systems.
- Conducting site inspections and supervising the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the construction process.
- Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and applying this knowledge to your work.
- Ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience within engineering and design of HVAC systems
- P.E. License preferred
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
