We are seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to be involved in a wide range of construction projects. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex mechanical solutions for our construction projects. Our ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a passion for innovation.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems for construction projects, ensuring that all designs meet the requirements of the project and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Use advanced software such as AutoCAD, Trace 700, Revit, SolidWorks, etc., to create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of mechanical systems.
3. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that all mechanical systems are integrated seamlessly into the overall design of the project.
4. Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and in a timely manner.
5. Conduct tests on mechanical systems to assess their functionality and efficiency, making adjustments or repairs as necessary.
6. Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of mechanical engineering, including HVAC and plumbing systems.
7. Keep up to date with the latest developments and innovations in the field of mechanical engineering and incorporate these into your work where appropriate.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in using advanced engineering software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and SolidWorks.
4. Extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices, including plumbing systems.
5. Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
