We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to join our growing team. This is a permanent role that offers immense opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities
- Leading and managing the mechanical engineering team to ensure the effective execution of projects.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of mechanical designs, ensuring that they meet project requirements and standards.
- Managing pipeline hydraulics, ensuring optimal efficiency and safety.
- Developing and monitoring KPI's to measure the performance and effectiveness of the mechanical engineering team.
- Ensuring the reliability of our engineering solutions, implementing strategies to improve performance and reduce downtime.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Providing technical guidance and support to the mechanical engineering team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in mechanical engineering and the energy industry, implementing innovative strategies and technologies where appropriate.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a mechanical engineering management role, preferably in the energy industry.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and pipeline hydraulics.
- Strong knowledge of KPI's and their application in performance measurement and management.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure the reliability of engineering solutions.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to drive teams to success.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for developing innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in the use of relevant software and technologies.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification will be considered an advantage.
