As a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney, your duties will include
- Representing healthcare professionals and institutions in medical malpractice lawsuits, ensuring their rights and reputations are protected.
- Conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and providing legal advice on medical malpractice and related issues.
- Developing strategies for defense in coordination with clients and other members of the legal team.
- Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
- Presenting cases in court, arguing motions, and conducting depositions.
To be successful in this role, you should have
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Massachusetts and Rhode Island Bar
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney or as a Civil Defense Attorney
- Proven experience in insurance defense.
