Responsibilities
- Work with senior litigators to develop litigation strategy for the defense of medical malpractice actions
- Draft and review pleadings and discovery, memos, briefs and other legal correspondence and litigation documents
- Analysis of medical records
- Represent clients in court
- Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings and all other aspects of medical malpractice litigation
- Interact with medical experts
- Conduct legal and medical research and analysis
- Draft motions
- 3 years of experience in medical malpractice/healthcare litigation
- Admission to practice in New York
