Responsibilities
As a Millwright, you will be entrusted with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the successful operation of our manufacturing facilities. Your tasks will include
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of machinery and equipment including pumps, blowers, agitators, and compressors.
- Conducting regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve any potential issues or malfunctions.
- Performing precision alignments of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Implementing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and increase operational efficiency.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and regulations in the handling of machinery and equipment.
- Collaborating with other team members to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues.
- Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Millwright in a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling machinery and equipment such as pumps, blowers, agitators, and compressors.
- Proficiency in performing precision alignments of machinery and equipment.
- Possession of a valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
