Job Details

• Design and develop rubber compression and injection molds using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo)
• Analyze sketches, specifications, and material properties to ensure precision engineering
• Conduct design reviews and collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, and production teams
• Implement innovative solutions, including 3D-printed tooling and advanced manufacturing techniques
• Optimize mold designs to improve performance, efficiency, and longevity
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and tolerance stack-up requirements
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging manufacturing technologies
  
  

Qualifications

• Education Degree or certification in CAD design, mechanical engineering, or related field
• Experience 3-5 years of experience in mold design for rubber or plastic injection molding
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo)
• Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in rubber, plastics, or precision tooling
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and design optimization techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
