Responsibilities
As a Permanent Mortgage Loan Post Closer, your primary responsibilities will include
- Reviewing all closed loan files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring that they meet all necessary requirements and regulations.
- Working closely with title companies to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the closing process.
- Activating Mortgage Insurance Certificates and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place.
- Identifying and addressing any missing documentation or individual file deficiencies, ensuring that all matters are resolved within specified timelines.
- Maintaining compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies, keeping up-to-date with any changes or updates.
- Collaborating with various internal teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the loan closing process.
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Mortgage Loan Post Closer position should have
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in a role related to loan closing or post-closing.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.
- Strong knowledge of both conventional and government loans.
- Experience working with title companies and understanding their role in the loan closing process.
- Familiarity with the activation of Mortgage Insurance Certificates.
- Proven ability to identify and address missing documentation or individual file deficiencies within specified timelines.
