Job Details
We are seeking an experienced MULTIFAMILY Construction Estimator to join our team and lead our negotiated work estimating efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and a proven track record of success in negotiated work estimating.
Responsibilities :
Develop detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, focusing on negotiated workAnalyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine scope and requirementsCollaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to clarify project details and negotiate costsPrepare and present comprehensive cost proposals for negotiated work projectsConduct quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material, labor, and equipment costsIdentify potential cost savings and value engineering opportunitiesMaintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricingParticipate in project handoff meetings to ensure smooth transition from estimating to project executionStay current with industry trends, pricing, and construction methodsQualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating, with a focus on negotiated workProven track record of successful cost estimating for large-scale commercial projectsIn-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standardsStrong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with clients and subcontractorsProficiency in estimating software (e.g., Timberline, WinEst, or similar) and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredInterested in hearing more?
