We are seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join our dynamic Tech Services team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and to be part of a team that values continuous learning and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex applications using .Net Core, Microservices, API Development, React / Redux. You will be expected to contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .Net code.
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and predictable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack and maintain internal and external facing web applications using .Net.
- Collaborate with the software development team and other departments to ensure projects are completed to specification.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including .NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET.
- Prepare and maintain code for various .Net applications and resolve any defects in systems.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies and apply them into the operational environment to improve the application platform.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience as a .Net Developer or Application Developer.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Redux, .Net Core, API, and Microservices.
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs.
- Able to work well in a team setting.
- Strong knowledge of the .Net framework (4.5 and above).
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and web development frameworks (AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery) is a plus.
