Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
• Plan, schedule, and review workload to ensure production output and on-time delivery targets are achieved cost-effectively.
• Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.
• Ensure all operations comply with OSHA regulations and other industry-specific standards.
• Implement ERP systems to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
• Manage and execute lean manufacturing initiatives and other customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Collaborate with other department leads to create strategic plans for business growth and operational improvement.
• Monitor and adjust production processes or equipment for quality and productivity.
• Prepare and submit reports on production and operational metrics to the senior management team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role within the Engineering industry.
• Proven experience with ERP systems, OSHA regulations, and LEAN manufacturing.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of industry-specific equipment and operations.
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound operational decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
• Ability to create accountability and lead by example.
• Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
