We are a leading player in the valve, pipe & fittings industry, seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Permanent Outside Sales Representative. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in an autonomous and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships. This role requires extensive travel, hence a valid driver's license is a must.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for
- Independently identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the market, leveraging your exceptional prospecting skills.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with potential and existing clients to generate and close sales opportunities.
- Delivering polished, persuasive sales presentations to a diverse range of clients, tailoring your approach to meet their unique needs.
- Meeting or exceeding established sales targets on a consistent basis.
- Collaborating effectively with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met, and issues are resolved promptly.
- Staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge.
- Providing regular sales reports and forecasts to management, using your excellent organizational and communication skills.
To be successful in this role, you will need
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a similar industry.
- Proven ability to work independently and take the initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent sales skills, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Outstanding presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence at all levels.
- A valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel extensively.
