We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Lead Maintenance Mechanic to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong mechanical maintenance background, adept in handling pneumatic cylinders and controls, motors, and proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). This role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a similar capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of mechanics to ensure the smooth operation and timely maintenance of our manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee and perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

2. Lead a team of maintenance mechanics, providing training, guidance, and support to ensure all team members are performing at their best.

3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with a variety of equipment, including pneumatic cylinders, controls, and motors.

4. Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules using CMMS, ensuring all maintenance activities are accurately logged and tracked.

5. Collaborate with other departments to identify potential areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

6. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.

7. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for the procurement of necessary spare parts and equipment.

8. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in the Manufacturing Industry.

2. Proven expertise in mechanical maintenance, including experience with pneumatic cylinders and controls, motors, and other manufacturing equipment.

3. Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.

4. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

6. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the manufacturing industry.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.

8. High level of physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for long periods.

9. A relevant certification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field would be advantageous.
