Job Details
We’re looking for a Paralegal with 2 years of experience in commercial real estate and finance transactions. This role involves title and survey review, corporate due diligence, document drafting, and closing support.
🔹 What You’ll Be Doing
Reviewing and analyzing title commitments, surveys, and recorded documents
Coordinating with title companies to obtain policies, endorsements, and necessary updates
Conducting corporate due diligence (UCC lien searches, entity formation, certificates of good standing, litigation/bankruptcy searches)
Drafting legal documents (organizational documents, UCC financing statements, resolutions, closing certificates, transfer documents)
Assisting with loan closings, managing checklists, preparing, and organizing closing documents
Handling post-closing matters, such as filing financing statements and recording real estate documents
🔹 What You Bring to the Table
BA/BS degree with a paralegal studies major/minor or paralegal certificate, OR prior business, real estate, or legal experience
2 years of experience in corporate finance, commercial finance, and/or real estate
Excellent organization, communication, and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle confidential information and work with a high degree of independence
