Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage legal documentation, ensuring all paperwork is accurate, complete, and filed on time.
- Oversee case management, including maintaining and updating client files, tracking deadlines, and ensuring all necessary information is readily available.
- Engage in regular client interaction, providing updates on case progress and addressing any concerns or queries.
- Ensure legal compliance in all activities, staying abreast of current laws and regulations applicable to our practice area.
- Provide litigation support, including conducting legal research, preparing briefs, and assisting in trial preparation.
- Review and analyze documents, identifying relevant information for cases.
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and pleadings.
- Utilize legal software for case management, document review, and other tasks.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and maintaining legal databases.
- Participate in conflict resolution, using negotiation skills to reach beneficial agreements.
- Manage legal discovery processes, including gathering, organizing, and reviewing evidence.
- Prepare for legal cases, including researching legal issues, gathering documents, and coordinating with attorneys and clients.
- Conduct legal document analysis, coding, and processing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal or similar role in the legal field.
- Proficient in legal documentation, case management, client interaction, legal compliance, litigation support, document review, and legal assistance.
- Expertise in drafting legal documents, using legal software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically.
- Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience in project management, legal discovery, and legal transcription.
- Understanding of legal ethics, legal case preparation, legal terminology, legal analysis, legal administration, legal consulting, legal document analysis, legal document coding, and legal document processing.
- Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred.
