Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and compile case law, statutes, and regulations
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence
- Assist with case management, including organizing files and maintaining accurate records
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, witnesses, and court officials
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and regulatory agencies
- Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and evidence
- Review and summarize documents, depositions, and discovery materials
- Manage deadlines and ensure timely filings and submissions
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical legal standards
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field (Paralegal certification preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a law firm or legal department
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and research tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
